Defense Spending
**UPDATE** Thankfully there are no conspiracy theories at work!! —————————————————————————- One of my biggest problems with national politics is the way in which politicians of every stripe (and many citizens as well) skirt the issue of defense...

I like this. elijahteitelbaum: Soft summer evenings spread into the sunset like cornfield carpets, warm winded breezes blowing faint melodies across the stars. And with our hair tangled in grass we point to all the stars we don’t know, the names slipping away from the tips of our tongues. But to us it doesn’t matter that our heads are as empty as the void above us; our fingers intertwined speak...

Emphasizing the Christian roots of the United...

So, the other night I was about to walk into a supermarket when this woman walks up to me looking rather flustered. She asks if I would listen to her for just a second. Sadly, because she did NOT look like a crazy bum I chose to listen to her (what that says about me I am not all sure). She goes on to tell me that her father is not doing well, and is sitting in her car across the way. She said he...
